Abstract

Management systems, with the creation of hierarchical structures of processes and standards, allow construction companies to efficiently achieve their objectives. In the organization of a work, a management system is established through different elements, such as plans, processes, rules and standards of behavior. However, sometimes there may be deficiencies in the processes due to resource limitations, lack of clarity in roles and responsibilities, communication errors or lack of training. To this end, the management of the configuration of the elements that make up the management systems implemented during each of the project phases emerges as a technique to protect their integrity and traceability. For this reason, the objective of this research is to propose a management model for the configuration of management systems in the organization of construction works as a reference to control changes in an orderly and systematic manner, which implies contributing to the fulfillment of the objectives. of constructive investment. The results showed that the proposal of the model to manage the configuration of management systems in the organization of construction works allows better coordination, organization of documents, internal communication and monitoring of changes, aspects that guarantee successful execution of projects in the construction field.
